happy halloween!

as scary as it sounds, i was driving a kia. i'm happy to say i got my tc back from the auto body shop, as good as new ... well, except for the damaged driver's side mirror, and the few scratches, and the broken front bumper, and the scratched tires, and -- anyway, to add to the scariness, alex was a pokemon for halloween!!

he looks so cute!!!!

this is his "the f-ing camera again??" look. ah, i can feel the love :-)

alex hiding so i wouldn't take his picture.

on the urging of his uncle :-) alex dumped out all his candy on grandma's nice rug

all alex's goodies!!! well, chris and i went through the candy and took out all the stuff we felt he's too young to have.

jeff and jen

my bro jeff and my soon to be sister in law (bro and sis for short) gave me the honor of shooting pre-wedding pictures of them. thank you so much!! you two were amazing to shoot. the beautiful background (sun setting at the beach) would have been trivial if it wasn't for you two and the love you have for each other. thank you! but now i'm getting sappy, and i'm too cool for that ;-)

more to come.

new ideas!

below are two versions of the same idea. kind of like watching kenneth branagh's "hamlet" and mel gibson's "hamlet" back to back. trust me.

for our last assignment, dave wanted us to take a concept he has done, and reshoot it. that was tough, because i love all of his work. but then i remembered from my writing days, and how i would copy william tester

i love this!!

this snack time gift kit is awesome! it comes with everything you could ever want in a kit: peanut butter, crackers, jelly ... oh, and kool aid.

it's great! i love it! thanks to karen of quickits and just in case gift kits fame, who gave me this! thank you!!

to note:
the peanut butter and crackers are gone! not at the same time, mind you.

jelly is half gone ... don't ask.

and ... uh ... the kool aid packet ... i wanted a coffee packet!

various snapshots with my point and shoot

you know, i really ever show you my apt besides ... well ... beisides me, slash, and my 20d. so first up, here's a look inside my fridge:

pretty scary, huh?? if you know any other artist, his/her fridge probably looks very similar.
that's it for now. please stay tuned for more!

i usually have either my 20d or my lumix point and shoot on me (sometimes both. i'm weird). here are random shots taken with my lumix this week.

there are some things you do just to say you did them ... well, i went up to rhode island. i did nothing in that state. but i went up there.

needless to say -- nyc.

early in the week, my nephew and i were outside putting cobwebs on the trees of my parents' house (he loves decorating for halloween!! oh, i love him even more!)

isn't he so cute!!

his ultra cool uncle

and i grabbed this snapshot, too. i'd like to call this image "believe".

at the milford duck pond yesterday. for only 5mp she isn't bad!

yes, that's my shadow. it was harsh sunlight, and i had to create a shadow to better capture the image. plus it's my shadow! if i was lame, i would file this under self portrait!!
